A friendly welcome awaits visitors to this spacious and self-contained single story accommodation which also has its own wheelchair accessible garden with a magnificent panoramic view westward towards Aberfeldy some 5 miles away.
The proprietors, Gil and Trish Orr live in the adjacent farm house and are always available to meet any request for information regarding the many places of interest to visit; active things to do and a wide range of eating houses to suit all budgets.
The local scenery is an attractive mix of mountains, lochs and rivers, all within a short distance from the Bothy, contained within an area known as Highland Perthshire. Its central position within Scotland also facilitates comfortable day trips to any of Edinburgh, Glasgow or Inverness, each of which is about 1 ½ hours car journey away. Likewise, the opportunity to explore the Kingdom of Fife, with St Andrews and a drive round the old fishing villages of the East Neuk being an attractive proposition for a day out, as would be a run up to beautiful Royal Deeside.
For those more interested in active pursuits, many opportunities exist to satisfy the aspirations of hill walkers; golfers; fishers; cyclist and watersport enthusiasts.
All in all, we might expect you to find that one week at Ballinduin Bothy serves only to enable you to realise how much there is to see and to do both within and from the base we are able to offer, thus we are happy to provide a discount for those wise enough to return for further visits!
