Claire & Mark Dimmock would like to offer you a warm welcome to their home, Balnearn House, Aberfeldy which is set in the heart of the beautiful Tay valley in Perthshire, one of the most scenic counties in Scotland. It is an excellent area for a variety of outdoor activities such as walking, cycling, white water rafting, canoeing, golfing, fishing or just touring around the countryside. There are many attractions within a short distance from Aberfeldy – the picturesque town of Pitlochry with its Festival Theatre, the fairytale Blair Castle (well worth a visit), the famous House of Bruar (for the shopaholics amongst you!) and, of course, the “fair city� of Perth which is only some 35 minutes drive away. Aberfeldy itself is not without its own visitor attractions with the Distillery and the intriguing Watermill Bookshop / Gallery (winner of the best UK independent bookshop), as well as other galleries and a good range of shops. The village of Kenmore, at the head of Loch Tay, is only six miles from Aberfeldy and, during the summer months, there are regular boat trips on the loch. Enough about Aberfeldy and its environs, now a little about Balnearn itself. Situated on the edge of the town within a two minute walk of the “Birks o’ Aberfeldy�, Balnearn is a Victorian- style property set within its own private grounds, including an off-street private car park. There are 10 comfortable and inviting rooms, offering the facilities which you would expect aswell as free WIFI access. Balnearn is located on the A826 heading to Crieff. We are on the right hand side past the entrance to the new Community Campus, after the old church. You can pull into our car park.

From the A9, take the B827 at Ballinluig. Follow this road to Aberfeldy and take the B846 over Wades Bridge. Follow road, the Weem Hotel is a short distance further on the right.
