Perthshire Rail Journeys
Trains are a leisurley way to tour through Perthshire, scenic routes take you to all major towns either between Perth & Inverness or Glasgow & Fort William.
Although you cannot get to all of Perthshire by train, the rail links are good, with a main line running from Perth, through Dunkeld and Pitlochry, before heading up to Blair Athol (home of the famous Blair Castle, home to the Duke of Atholl) and then beyond, leaving Perthshire and continuing out into the Cairngorms mountains and on to Inveress.
