Castles in Perthshire

Perthshire’s Castles are one of its major draw cards!

Perthshire has loads of Castles from the rustic Castle Menzies where Bonnie Prince Charlie stayed in the castle in 1746 to Blair Castle which is the home of the Duke of Atholl - visit as many as you can during your stay!

15th Century Balhousie Castle near Perth was Home to the Earls of Kinnoull; Blair Castle in Blair Atholl is home of the Atholl Highlanders and is well geared up to entertain tourist with a tour of many of the rooms.

The 14th Century Garth Castle near Aberfeldy was built by Alexander Stewart, the Earl of Buchan and Drummond Castle in Crieff is also well worth a visit with its beautifully manicured gardens.
