Scone Palace is a listed historic house at Scone, just outside Perth in Perthshire.

Scone Palace was the crowning place of the Kings of Scots and is well documented in the history of Scotland. Scone Palace is also home to the Stone of Destiny.

Visitors can browse through the state rooms of Scone Palace and view the collections of furniture, ceramics & ivories. Rococo chairs by Pierre Bara and Dresden and Sèvres porcelains are just some of the interiors contents. Scone Palace gardens are open to the public, and you can see some of the peacocks which roam the grounds, including several albino males.

The ancient site of Scone Abbey is now underground, but was the crowning place of the Kings of the Scots; who were crowned on the famous Stone of Destiny.

Scone Palace hosts the Game Conservancy Scottish Fair every year in its grounds, the event is targeted at everything outdoors, and is well worth a visit if you are in the Perthshire are in early June.
